Descrizione del video:

Hello Country Goodbye City is a time lapse project, undertaken through pretty much the whole year of 2012.

Some scenes started out as other projects, some were planned, many were unplanned - mostly myself and my camera and see what happens.
This particular project started out as a desire to highlight the beauty of nature, juxtaposed against the often grittiness of city and suburban life, however it morphed into a showpiece often showing beauty in both extremes.
No matter how many special moments one can find in the city however, whether it be the big, bustling, famous cities or the often ignored smaller ones such as my city - there is still no greater joy than the quick escape to the country side - 100km for the car but 1000km for the mind.
These images were shot in the city of Adelaide, South Australia, and its surrounds with the only exception being Rainbow Serpent Festival in country Victoria.
Locations include but not limited to:
Adelaide, Goolwa, Second Valley, The Riverland, Cape Jervis, Eden Valley, Monarto, Beaufort.... and many other little side of the road places here and in between. Oh and of course my backyard.

I predominately used a Canon 60D with a Canon 15-85mm lens. Occasionally when I had enough money to beg, borrow or hire I used a Canon 5D with a 24mm f1.4 and a Phillip Bloom motorised slider. Shooting with sliders is so much fun!
This entire project was done for fun, as a hobby and as anyone who has shot time lapse before can attest to I can confidently say I put a few hours into shooting, rendering and editing this short film.
Hope you enjoy :)
