Coding is tied into everything these days from 3D printing and CNC, to circuits and robotics, to video games and film, to music and art. The Children’s Museum of Bozeman STEAMlab aims to give children a project based, hands-on, mentor-led experience to get them excited about what’s possible with today’s technology. John shares how he was inspired to start programming by a volunteer industry professional, the career path it led to and how he’s trying to bring similar experiences to children through the STEAMlab.
