In the spirit of Footfalls & Heartbeats Limited, a newly established intelligent textile start-up, a fictional wristband was designed, to be a distinctive accessory for people with diabetes to increase daily performance and quality of living. The concept enables the user to monitor their heartbeat through the intelligent textile created uniquely by Footfalls and Heartbeats Limited. Additionally it has the ability to track the end user’s glucose level via the reverse iontophoresis process. Moreover, the wristband comes with an app, in which data from the remote physiological monitoring system (wristband) will be transmitted to a linked smartphone or related device.
