Lemon Sharks and Other Critters

This video highlights the Lemon sharks – they were always the first to show up on scene, and remain. Another beautiful animal as well, they are so very different in behavior from the Tiger shark. Despite their beady eyed, and snaggly tooth appearance, they just basically go about their business. They are very social, either swimming together in synch, or piling over each other just to get around. They are fast, and graceful, even when feeding. The Lemons seem to prefer gliding just above the sand, or swimming at the surface. Many times a few would take a rest in the sand, and just sit there.
