For the second time MAD Brussels launches its call for bike customization for MAD Bike Customization 2013
Ex - rebel, a nothing protestor, the bike made its comeback and became the best friend of the city dweller, now part of the daily life of our cities. Very trendy, it has become the standard bearer of the new generation of urban committed and concerned with soft mobility. At the same time, fashion, luxury and design have developed a lasting and creative dialogue with sustainable development for several years.
By working these 20 bikes to make them real objects of art, the creators will express their own vision of an ethical fashion, in phase with its time, in order to sensitize the public to live the sustainable development on a daily basis and creatively . The intervention must be as broad as possible in terms of choice of bikes, their achievements and cover all the public concerned and all categories of bikes, city, child, mountain bike, fixie, race, tandem, etc.
