Old King Hamlet’s Revenge

Silent Drum composition and performance by Mathew Hellawell on 10 April, 2012, during a University of Lethbridge Electroacoustic Ensemble event. Mathew did some amazing work in 2011-12, learning how to construct a slient drum, develop sound ideas and write new music for the digital musical instrument. The title is an indication/remnants of a previous performance, during which Mathew developed incidental music with the drum for a production of Shakespeare's Hamlet at the university. The silent drum was first developed by Jaime Oliver. Thanks to Jaime for his assistance.
